Outstanding Student Presentation Awards
The 13th National Institute of Geological Sciences Research Symposium entitled, “Paladútaan: Pagsulong sa Nagbabagong Panahon”, will highlight research presentations of undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD geology students. As a way to encourage quality research and to further improve students’ presentation skills, the Outstanding Student Presentation Awards (OSPAs) will be introduced and presented in this year’s research symposium.
The Outstanding Student Presentation Awards (OSPAs) are granted to undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD students in recognition for their exemplary research in the earth sciences. The OSPAs are awarded to students who deliver outstanding oral or poster presentation as first authors. Students are evaluated based on their presentation skills and research work. Judges are invited to assess and score student oral and poster presentations.
